Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is set to be one of the world’s largest indoor theme parks when it opens on Yas Island in 2018 with its 1.65 million square feet. So let’s take a look of what we’ve known so far.
First there’ll be 5 themed lands:
Warner Bros. Plaza, the general entry area.
Bedrock, the prehistoric home of the Flintstones.
Dynamite Gulch, a cartoony version of the Southwest American desert with characters like Wile E. Coyote, RoadRunner, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martin and The Jetsons
Cartoon Junction, a whimsical town with Bugs Bunny, Scooby, Tom & Jerry and Scooby Doo
Gotham City dedicated to Batman
Metropolis dedicated to Superman
The park will have a total of 29 rides, shows, and attractions.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is a partnership between Warner Bros and DC Entertainment will set Miral’s Yas Island as a prime destination for theme parks lovers. This includes Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, CLYMB, and opening in 2022, the recently announced SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.
As you can see from the photos the park is in its final stages of construction. The yellow facade is completed, cartoon characters are being painted on walls and all rides are installed inside. No opening date was yet announced by its fair to say that the park will open late Summer 2018.
The new Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi theme park has now opened their new preview website, including an area you can sign up to get email updates about the park as news items are released.
