Typhoon is a steel roller coaster construted by the German manufacturer Gerstlauer and opened on April 10, 2004. The attraction has a maximum height of almost 26 meter and a 670-meter long track. There are eight carriages, all of which can carry eight passengers (two rows of 4 people). The capacity of the typhoon is about 1400 visitors per hour. Typically, the lift hill whereby the trolley is pulled vertically upward, followed by a first descent with an angle of 97 °, which is slightly further than vertically downwards. The Typhoon has four inversions: a 19 meter high looping double Heartline Roll and a single Heartline Roll. It is the steepest drop of any roller coaster in Belgium.
