Here’s a list of our favorite Floridian theme park travel picks during christmas and winter season:
Disney Magic Kingdom. Nov. 8, 11, 14, 15, 17, 21, 22 and Dec. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20. The park presents “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” with a special Christmas parade, a Holiday Wishes fireworks show, special performances, complimentary Christmas cookies and cocoa and “snow” falling on Main Street USA.
Universal Studios Florida. From December 7 to January 4 (2014) the park offers a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade that features some of New York Macy’s signature giant balloons, including Uncle Sam and a toy soldier, plus floats, clowns, and guest marching bands.
Seaworld Orlando. From November 23 through December 31 the park has special Christmas decorations on its marine park in the form of special shows, a skate show, festive decorations, and live holiday music from classical musicians and carolers tells the Christmas stories (“O Wondrous Night” and kiddies “Elmo’s Christmas Wish.”).
Universal Islands of Adventure. From December 7 to January 4 the park offers a musical presentation of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” that will be performed in the park’s Seuss Landing. The furry green Grinch will also meet and greet guests.
Busch Gardens Tampa, November 29 to December 1, December 6 to 8, and December 12 to 23 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m the park offers holiday themed presentations such as “Elmo’s Christmas Wish” and the ice skating show, “Angels of Peace.”, a snow area and a Christmas Town Express train.
