After a day break in London we went north 200 miles to Blackpool beach, home of Sandcastle Waterpark, Blackpool Zoo, the Blackpool Tower and of course Blackpool Pleasure Beach. After i night in a nearby cheap Hotel we went to the park and entered before it opens. It was a different experience because some of the rides in the park are very old and need everyday maintenance each morning (for instance Big Dipper was constructed back in 1923 and Grand National in 1935). As we travel with 2 young boys we went first to the new Nickelodeon Land. This children’s playground opened in 2012 and and includes numerous small attractions suitably aimed at younger children and tweens, including a Log Flume-type attraction, two 1,099 feet (335 m) long junior wooden coasters and various small carousel-type attractions. Dora boat gentler ride made our friend and theme park extreme ride expert Roberto sick, again, which is a big mystery for all of us since this guy is the first to jump to the fastest and scariest rides.
