Based on the universe of heroes by Saint-Exupéry, the balloon manufacturer Aérophile has plans for the first air amusement park in the world for next summer, reports the french newspaper Le Figaro. The park will take the place of the former Bioscope theme park in the south of Alsace (in Ungersheim near germany and switzerland borders) that has been closed since last year. According to the same source forty million euros had been invested there and it will take another ten for this recovery.
On January edition for Park World Magazine more details where known. The parc will have 4 themed areas: Space (featuring a 3D Movie Les Aventures du Petit Prince), Aviation (with Vuele de la Nuit simulator), Water and Animals and Plants (with a ride called Dence avec les Moutons). All rides seems to be Futuroscope like. But of course the flights in two ballons will be the main feature for the park that celebrates the 70 years of Saint-Exuspéry childrens book.
