Pégase Express megacoaster is almost ready for a June opening at Parc Asterix, France.
The ride takes passengers on a fun and thrilling journey through Astérix-stye Ancient Greece aboard the Pégase Express. The ride was developed by Leading themed entertainment company, Jora Vision and had a total cost of 16 millions Euros.
The train, to reflect the ancient era of the stories, whisks guests on a round trip of almost a kilometre. Riders hurtle past the Romus and Rapidus attraction and crash into a billboard. Finally, they enter the Temple of Medusa. Medusa wakes up in a bad mood, at which point the train quickly reverses.
This new family attraction located in the Ancient Greece themed land and will have time of journey 3 minutes. With a maximum speed of 52 km / h, the “Pegasus Express” riding school will culminate at over 21 meters high. The ride is almost ready as we witness in our park visit last a few weeks ago.
