Mean Streak was a wooden roller coaster located for 25 years at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.
It opened to the public on May 11, 1999 and closed on September 2016. As the name suggests it was one of painful roller coasters in the world. In fact, Mean Streak was extremely rough to the point of shaking the riders so hard that some reported headaches and hurting ribs at the end of its 3 minutes and 13 seconds. During its reign it was one of the longest but also one of the tallest wooden roller coasters with 161 feet tall (16 stories high).
