The question that comes to our mind when we arrive at Energylandia: who in the hell had the idea to built a fantastic theme park in the middle-of-nowhere in the countryside of Poland?. We don’t have an answer. But who cares?. This theme park is simply awesome.
Energylandia is located in Zator, southern Poland, a whopping 400km away from Warsaw, Poland’s capital city. It opened on 14 July 2014 with the help of EU funds.
For a relatively new theme park, it has lots of roller coasters, including a groundbreaking speed water coaster and the highest and fastest hyper coaster in Europe, both built in 2018 by Intanmin. Two top-notch roller coasters opened in the same year in one park: simply amazing!!!.
And that’s not all!. In June 2018, Energylandia Water Park was expanded to include a Tropical Fun zone expanding the water park offer by 10 new water slides.
And more…much more. Traditional food stands, everything’s clean and polished, friendly staff (despite almost no one spoke a word in English), large parking space and fair price tickets of 119 zlots for each adult (32 USD, 27 Euros)!!!.
This is not the time to draft a review just yet but Energylandia has potential to be one of the greatest theme parks in Europe.
