Disney California Adventure is a bit different park from what you expect by the brand.
Off course now there are some ongoing changes to include the new popular Disney franchises, like a Marvel-themed land. This new themed area will be based around the preexisting Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! with the addition of new Marvel attractions, one based on Spider-Man and another based on the Avengers, set to open in 2020.
The park is themed after the history and culture of California and has some unique lands like the iconic Pixar Peer and Pacific Warf, versions of popular California coastal boardwalks.
But for us the boardwalk, the impressive giant whell (that swings) and its rollercoaster where the best to ride.
And also the rides at the Grizzly Peak area themed around California’s wilderness and national parks (Yosemite and Redwood national parks) and its main attractions Grizzly River Run river rapids ride and Soarin’ Around the World, a ride that simulates a hang glider tour of locations, landscapes, and landmarks across six continents of the world (a replica of the one we visited last year at Epcot in Florida).
