Although many of my collegues here at Theme Park Guide have already visited this wild life/safari reserve this y first time at Badoca Safari Park. And from the reviews nothing substantial has changed since the last visit.
The main attraction continues to be the safari powered by a tractor over the hills on the dry Alentejo landscape.
There’s a baby giraffe who caught our attention, a bird of prey show, a primates island, an interaction with the Lemurs and a small rating to refresh.
The most impressive aspect of is the park is the number of animals in the wild. 18 different animal species cohabit, totaling 230 animals, among which are giraffes, oryxes, zebras, buffaloes, ostriches, elands, kudus, impalas, antelopes and wildebeests, which can all be observed throughout the Safari journey on 45 hectares of land.
Reserve a morning or the afternnon or plan a pic nic. There are lot of good areas to do so.
