Water Adventure Resort due to open in 2019 is by far the largest investment in the history of the Europa Park.
The water park, which is around 460,000 square meters, will be indoor and doesn’t have a name yet. A possible name for the water park is already circulating on the Internet with parkerlebnis.de beting on”Rulantica “. The name is supposed to be an artificial word, composed of Rust and Atlantic, or refer to the mythical island of Atlantis. On the water park front you will find a wave pool, stream channel and several water slides. As usual in Europa Park‘s you can expect same attractions never seen elsewhere, including a wave bath, as well as a flow and whitewater canal. The water slides, according to the model and the preview showed the park, offer an indoor/outdoor ride and can be seen on the facade of the building. The riders will start the journey inside the water park, then are led through the walls to the outside and finally back into the interior of the building, before the slide ends and sink into the cool water. Compared to the large swimming pool, which covers an area of about 14,000 square meters, the outside area is much smaller with only a recognizable swimming pool with an area of approximately 445 square meters.

There also a new hotel (the 6th of Europa Park Rust chain) separated by a fjord from the indoor water park, with an offer of around 300 rooms for approx. 1,300 guests. The elaborately designed themed hotel is themed on a Scandinavian harbour town and reminds visitors of a museum with many exciting sights.
Works are already undergoing.
