This year several theme parks in Europe will open earlier and we’re just in time for us to plan a spring break to South Europe or an Easter holiday for all family in our favourites rides in Central Europe.
Spain is a good destination in March because not only due to the sunny weather forecast but also because theme parks that are opening early this year. From March 3 Warner Madrid invites you to THE MONTH OF THE SUPERHEROES with the most powerful superhero line up: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern. From March 23 PortAventura resort opens its doors in time for Easter holiday with a new area and 5 fantastic attractions specially designed for the youngest coming to Ferrari Land. Italy is also a good destination during March. Cinnecitta World reopens with a special event on March 24th and 25th called URBAN DANCE FEST (the park also be open on the Easter weekend). At Gardaland 29 March is the start date for the new season with an exciting new 4D thrilling cinematic experience and restyling of the icon “I Corsari” attraction (later in the season the park will open a new kids land called Pepa the Pig Land).
In the Uk Drayton Manor Park slashed family ticket prices for Easter 2018 from Wednesday 28 March to Sunday 15 April and Thorpe Park opens world’s first The Walking Dead roller coaster. Legoland Windsor reopens on Friday, March 9 – in time for both Mother’s Day and the school Easter holidays. Finally, after months of anticipation, adrenaline junkies will finally be able to take the Alton Towers newest ride, The Wicker Man. The £16 million rollercoasters have been two years in the making and are expected to ready when the park opens on March 17th.
In Germany Europa Park and Movie Park reopens on March 23th and Phantasialand on the 24th but all new rides are opening later on the season (namely the VR Can Can on revamped Eurosat at Europa Park expected only next Summer). On the Netherlands, both Efteling and Toverland are now open but the novelties are also a few months away, namely the Toverland expansion scheduled for July.
