Last week members of the media got their first look at a 50-foot, detailed model of “Star Wars” land during a media preview for Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim.
The new star wars land across Disney parks will be called Galaxy’s Edge, described as a planet on the Outer Rim in “Star Wars” lore. The new themed land is the largest expansion in Disneyland’s 60-plus year history. Visitors will be able to pilot the Millennium Falcon ride and become fully immersed in a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. They’ll be able to drink blue milk at a cantina similar to the famed Mos Eisley Cantina and rub shoulders with bounty hunters, droids, aliens, and other inhabitants that will populate the land.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in 2019 first at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California and then at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.
