Busch Gardens Tampa has welcomed three Malayan tiger cubs into the world – two males and one female. The cubs were born at the park on March 31, and are a boost to conversation efforts with only 500 Malayan tigers surviving in the wild.
Each cub weighs between six and seven pounds, and is currently being monitored around the clock by the park’s animal care team. These newborn cubs will add to the genetic diversity of the Malayan tiger population and contribute to conservation efforts for the species.
